For the past five weeks I have been working on a very exciting feature film along with the British Youth Film Academy.
I can't say too much about the film itself at this stage as I don't want to jump the gun on their own scheduled PR, however I can talk about the organization.
The BYFA is a charity organization part funded by the Co-Operative and they run yearly summer camps up and down the country for young, aspiring film-makers. It is a wonderful opportunity for people between the ages of 14 - 25 to go and get real, practical experience of working on an actual film set.
I can't offer enough praise for the people I have been working with these past five weeks. Everyone, from the students to the organizers, have been a positive joy to be around and work with. The level of professionalism and dedication has been extraordinary.
This year alone the BYFA have filmed four separate feature films and I hope to keep you informed of their progress in the future.
As for myself, I consider myself honored to have been asked to be a part of this years summer camp and I hope to maintain close ties with the BYFA in the future.
Thanks to everyone involved - I miss you all already.
